日本一本道a不卡免费Wondering if ministry or seminary might be right for you? This course, Vocation and Discernment: Resources for a Year of Service will be a valuable tool in discovering what your future may hold for you.
The purpose of this online course is to pursue a method of discernment making extensive use of the experience of a year of service. This class pursues several questions to develop an individual discernment process rooted in the context of self and community. Through process and group work, through self-directed exploration and reflection, participants will have the chance to approach the topic of discernment, assess their own past work in this area, examine discernment methods and try them out in their own contexts, and reflect on these experiences in activities, discussions, and written reflection. We will pursue autobiography, community description and systems theory, historical sources, and contemporary events to study various ways of connecting faith with service. Our goal will be final projects which develop a vocational self-portrait. Those participants who have done some work in discernment and vocation in the past are encouraged to make use of that work and to consider discernment as a continuing process and way.
